Joy to the World, the Lord has come!
Christmas is always my favourite festival and I especially enjoy Christmas decorating. It has been years that I would like to work on a Christmas theme shooting, and I will like to make it special as you need to find the right venue and it takes a lot of effort and time in sourcing and decorating.
Finally, my dream comes true this Christmas after I started building my own studio last year! With the support of my very good friend, Ada from A. Kitchen (P.S. she is definitely an evil in Christmas deco and table setting), I've came up with 3 different Christmas scenes setting, including: Starry Night, the Little Barn, and the Christmas Table!
Scene 1: Starry Night
Many Christians see the star as a miraculous sign to mark the birth of Christ, and this is how I came up with this Starry Night setting! Isn't it joyful to enjoy the starry night with your love ones!
The two little sisters reaching up the sky!
What's better than a cup of hot chocolate with your love ones under the starry night!
Bringing in props such as gift boxes and wine box stands so to add more Christmas elements to the images. The kid is just surprised when seeing his dad bringing in the giftboxes and this image is captured right in time!
The real excitement on the boy's face when taking possession of the giftboxes!
Scene 2: the Little Barn
We know the Christmas story so well. Mary and Joseph traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem and was turned away by the innkeeper. They took refuge in a barn, where little baby Jesus was born and laid in a manger. And this is how I came up with my second setting, the Little Barn.
A little bit about behind the scenes. My clients were amazed when they saw this setting when walking into my studio, and has been asking how did I came up with these decos. In fact, these were the collections I gathered all over the world the last couple years and it is amazed that how well they blended together.
